Guidelines for Belkin.Range Setup via Wireless Mode

Follow the below-mentioned instructions to install Belkin WiFi extender through the wireless mode:

Step 1: Before going ahead with the Belkin Range Setup, make sure your Belkin range extender is plugged into a power outlet and is close to the main WiFi router.

Step 2: Make sure your device is connected to a high-speed internet connection.

Step 3: Next, take your computer, mobile, or laptop whatever you have. Thereafter, go to the WiFi settings page. On your screen, a list of WiFi networks will appear. You need to select a WiFi network from the list of available networks.

Step 4: After that, connect to the belkin.setup WiFi network.

Step 5: Now, you need to wait for your device to connect to the Belkin.setup network or the IP address 192.168.206.1. Make sure to use the same device to open the browser.

Step 6: In the URL bar of your web browser, type http://belkin.range setup. Use the default IP address, 192.168.206.1 setup, if it does not redirect you to the Belkin extender setup configuration page.

Step 7: When it takes you to the setup's home page, click the "Get Started" button. It will automatically look for the SSID of the router.

Step 8: Select the network that you wish to extend from the main WiFi router. If the WiFi network of your choice does not appear in the list, press the "refresh" button. To proceed further, tap on the Next button to go ahead.

Step 9: Enter the WiFi network password into the respective field. To successfully connect to the appropriate network, press the Next button. If your Belkin extender comes along with two antenna bands, such as 2.4GHz and 5GHz, you'll have to repeat the process.

Step 10: After connecting your extender to the main router's WiFi network, you'll be navigated to a page where you may double-check your settings. Tap the "Edit" button if you want to make any further changes.

Step 11: Once you've double-checked the settings, press the "Create Extended Network" button.

Step 12: Finally, you'll see an image of a giant blue tick, which indicates that your Belkin extender has been successfully configured and is ready to use.
